About Top 100 Golf Tours
Established by Matt Weavers (pictured), Top 100 Golf Tours is a family owned, independent golf tour organiser dedicated to providing memorable golf tours "Where the Golf comes first".
Created out of a dissatisfaction with the traditional 'hotel-led' golf tour operator model, Top 100 Golf Tours build bespoke packages based around the golf courses you want to play, not just those simply with a hotel attached.
Rather, we believe the perfect golf tour is about playing bucket list golf courses with friends and family, where the shared excitement of playing these fabulous courses create memories and experiences that will last you a lifetime. As anyone who has played the "Road Hole 17th" at St Andrews or the infamous "Postage Stamp" at Royal Troon will attest, these are the types of experience you will want to return to again and again!
Our first hand experience means we are ideally suited to finding the best experience for you. Matt is a Top 100 golf course rater for Golf Monthly magazine and has played hundreds of courses all over the world, including the majority of Top 100 courses in the UK & Ireland. He spent several years travelling the world's greatest courses with the European Tour and has been fortunate enough to play The Old Course, St Andrews over 250 times. "We played Kingsbarns, St Andrews Castle, St Andrews Old & New, Carnoustie and Lundin Links. I can honestly say that every course we played was fantastic, my favourite was Carnoustie. It was a week after The Open on a very wet and windy Sunday afternoon, nevertheless the experience is not to be missed. This is one awesome golf course!
