At stunning St Enodoc and Trevose you play right on the coastline with all the 'wow factor' the sea brings, whilst at magnificent Burnham & Berrow and Saunton (both East and West courses) you play over and amongst giant dunes with rumpled fairways, strategically placed bunkers and cleverly sloping greens. Alternatively, take a step back into time at historic Royal North Devon, savour the amazing cliff top experience of Perranporth, or bring your A-game to conquer the challenging Nicklaus course at St Mellion. The Atlantic Coast offers a truly wonderful breadth of golfing experiences to suit every player.
A quick glance at the course architects demonstrates the quality of the courses, a veritable who's who of the founding fathers of course design; from Harry Colt and Alister MacKenzie, to Old Tom Morris, James Braid and Herbert Fowler. Ultimately though, as you enjoy post round drinks in the 19th, you will probably have total recall of all the magnificent holes you've just enjoyed - a sign of a truly great course and truly great Top 100 Golf Tour.
Winding its way over magnificent dunes with views of the Atlantic Coast, the highly rated Championship course is a traditional out and back links golf course designed by Harry Colt and Alister MacKenzie, quite a team!
This James Braid masterpiece is a true links golf classic with towering dunes, cavernous bunkers and spectacular views of the Atlantic Coast. The famous Himalaya bunker on the 6th has to be seen to be believed!
Laid out amongst a huge area of dunes, the East is a firm running Herbert Fowler links golf classic. Host of numerous championships, no less a judge than Sir Nick Faldo has opined it worthy of an Open Championship.
A recent upgrade of the West has created possibly the finest 36 holes of links golf in the country. Set closer to the dunes, the West delivers a selection of highly memorable holes played over rolling terrain.
Regarded as the St Andrews of the South, RND was laid out by Old Tom Morris and is the oldest course in England. A unique 'must play' old-school links golf course where you get a tangible sense of the game's history.
Another Harry Colt classic, the front nine hugs the dunes and Atlantic coastline and is among the most spectacular in the country. The 4th green in particular is blessed with one of UK golf's most stunning backdrops. Links golf at its finest.
